And The World Was Returned to Zero

YYYYYUP. Zero is back.

I did a spriteline at the start of the month of Zero from Kirby 3, and I really liked how it turned out, so here's the second half of, i guess, Zero Month. On this painting, I used a second canvas on the back of the large main one, to add an inside to the hole that Zero's iris bursts out of. Also, the iris itself is a painted fish-eye-type cover to a LCD light. I wanted to make a 3D painting for a long time, and I found the perfect method. The dark matterlets were definitely the hardest part. THOSE EYES, YO.

Anyway, next month is the big one of the year! COLONEL-MAS 2013! I'll touch on what will come out that month soon, but until then, enjoy the last... gory thing from me this year. XD
